Updating iphone 3g
The third-generation Apple TV can be upgraded to support You Tube by selecting “Settings,” then “General,” then “Upgrade Software” in the device’s menu.
First and second-generation Apple TVs, which were on sale before 2012, will no longer support the You Tube app at all.
i Phone 4S and i Phone 5 users who have never upgraded their operating system can update to i OS 8 to get access to You Tube.
i Phone 4 users who already have i OS 7 will still have access to You Tube, but those who never upgraded will be out of luck because Apple now only offers i OS 8, which is not supported on the i Phone 4.
This is because some of us have 3G/4G network with lots of free MBs / GBs left – and because the download speed is extremely fast, it makes sense to use cellular data over home Wi Fi or broadband, right? And if you were to download it via 3G/4G, there’s a greater chance that your mobile bill at the end of the month will be ridiculously high.
So one of the i Phone user wants to know if there is any way to get i OS 9 update via OTA (Over The Air) using the cellular data.
So you may have to be a cautious when you download files of such size. Apple doesn’t want you to use cellular data to get the i OS 9 update files.
